Organization Description:

We initiate and drive community eye care activities in India by working with eye care organisations such as Sankara Eye Society, which runs the Sankara Eye Hospital all over India. The majority of our fundraising effort is achieved through fund raising events, booths in major events, advertising and working with major donors. Conducted an Eye Camp every weekend.Performed 56,000 surgeriesin the year 2004.Reached out to a population of over 15 Million people.One of the largest rural out-reach programs in India.Worked hard on Education and Prevention of Curable Blindness

Example Project:

The Focus AP project is to build a state-of-the-art 400 bed community eye care hospital in Andhra Pradesh.This facility in Andhra Pradesh will be similar to the campus and hospital at Coimbatore – adhering to the highest quality standards in service delivery, buildings and equipment.
