Organization Description:
Cambodia Tomorrow, a non-profit organization, was founded to provide disadvantaged children in Cambodia's orphanages with opportunities to achieve a brighter future and to reach their full potential through education and providing for their basic needs. Cambodia Tomorrow values self-determination and works with the caregivers to establish programming that best meets the needs of the children. Our Guiding Principles We are moved by the economic, social and political challenges faced by the people of Cambodia and want to make a positive impact on the lives of its children. We believe in the power of education. We believe that the future of Cambodia's children is significantly enhanced by a Khmer-based educational program that includes the study of English. We believe all children have the right to have basic needs met, including food, medical care and educational opportunities. We value self-determination and believe that Cambodia's children, parents, and other caregivers are best qualified to determine what services and programs will enhance their lives. We strive to partner with other assistance groups to coordinate our efforts to help children. We are committed to rigorous financial responsibility and practices that ensure the maximum percentage of contribution funds will be spent for the children.
