Organization Description:

Botswana Orphan Program aims to raise support for effective programs serving AIDS orphans in Botswana. The second goal is to educate Americans regarding the conditions faced by AIDS orphans in Botswana and the overall impact of the AIDS pandemic. The Botswana Orphan Program also fosters cross cultural exchange between the peoples of Botswana and America.

Example Project:

Expanded the operations of Reneetswe Orphan Center from 1 day a week to five days a week through fundraising and connectin the program with in county resources.

HIV/AIDS, Nutrition, Mental Health & Drug Addiction

Activities that combat poverty:

Economic Development, Economic & Social Inequities, Employment & Income Generation, Community Development, Education and Literacy
