Organization Description:

We are Ameri-Asia Charities, Inc. - a 501(c)(3) public charitable organization. We strive to bring relief to the destitute (at this time in Kolkata, India) through assistance with their most basic needs in order to help them achieve self-sustainment. We offer education to the destitute street children, as also food, clothing, medicines, doctor visits and other similar necessities to the needy, filling the gap between despair and hope.

Example Project:

We have provided basic education to more than 50 street children. With this education, they are able to procure better employment and provide a better life for their families. Also, we have assisted older youths to pass entrance exams and acquire school clothing and supplies to enter higher elementary schools [grades 6 and up].
