Organization Description:
Adoption Advocates International is a 501 (c) (3) child placing agency licensed in Washington since 1983. We place children from the foster care system into adoptive homes as well as find loving, responsible, stable families for children without families living abroad. We also have educational, sponsorship, and networking programs in support of children and families.
Example Project:
Development of Layla House which provides food, shelter, education, and medical care for about 150 children at any one time. Layla House is located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Children without families can be placed with adoptive families. Children with families, have sponsors to help them stay in school, with their families. Programs for special needs children have been and continue to be developed.
